Duke School of Medicine moved to a federated model for all of its websites for more consistent branding and reduced cost of maintenance. As part of the change, its sites migrated from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9, using new content types and paragraphs. The sites needed to be migrated by a specific deadline.

Solution: We migrated more than 3,000 pages across eight departments and centers within eight months, helping them translate their old sites into the new templates. We started with content planning — including content inventories and IA — and finished with QA, which encompassed creating redirects from the old sites to the new.
