Duke University School of Medicine had invested significantly in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) efforts and continues to engage faculty, staff, and students to improve the experience at the school for all. A year after reorganizing, the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion wanted a new platform to demonstrate its efforts.
Challenge: Revamp the EDI section to better highlight programs and resources and engage faculty, staff, and students.
Services: Content strategy, information architecture, writing, editing
Solution: We started with stakeholder and student interviews, analysis of metrics, and a competitive analysis. Based on those findings, we developed a new site map. We then wrote and edited key pages based on web best practices.
