UT Southwestern COVID-19 Response Content

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, health care systems faced an urgent need to communicate with patients and the community. UT Southwestern Medical Center created a new section on its site to push out information and help patients stay informed.

Challenge: UT Southwestern asked us to help create a structure for the wide variety of information that needed to be conveyed to patients — a flexible architecture that could change as quickly as details about the pandemic did. It started with educational information about COVID-19 but needed to evolve to cover everything from appointments to dining services to vaccines.

Services: Content strategy, information architecture, SEO, writing, and editing

Solution: We developed a site architecture that allows patients, community members, and providers to quickly grasp the information they need to know now, while providing access to all relevant resources related to COVID-19. We focused on making the information as easy to understand as possible. We routinely revise and update the content as the situation and details change.
